Vera Wang Princess

I didn't actually buy this, but my husband gave me this perfume to celebrate our 10 year "the day we met" anniversary. I like this fragrance. I generally stay away from perfumes; often they are too strong for me. Unlike Vera Wang's original perfume (which I, of course, wore on my wedding day), Princess is not as strong and sweet.
According to Sephora, this scent is categorized as a soft oriental. They note the following regarding the perfume: (http://www.sephora.com)

Notes:Water Lily, Lady Apple, Mandarin Meringue, Golden Apricot Skin, Ripe Pink Guava, Tahitian Flower, Wild Tuberose, Dark Chocolate, Pink Frosting Accord, Precious Amber, Forbidden Woods, Royal Musk Captive, Chiffon Vanilla.

Style:Sheer. Tropical. Delectable.

LOVE IT! For $42, you can pick up the smaller bottle. If you want to give this scent a try, on Vera Wang's website, you can click to receive a sample. :)

BCBG Zahida

What a fabulous shoe! As I prepare myself for the upcoming holiday parties, I found these PERFECT velvet BCBG shoes for many of my holiday dresses! The heel is 4" (which can be a problem after a night of liquid holiday treats), but a 4" heel ALWAYS makes the legs look long and sexy! BCBG's shoes always fit according to size for me and I generally don't hurt after a night of wearing them. For $275, you can add these treasures to your holiday collection!

7 For All Mankind Gored Stretch Denim Skirt

You cannot go wrong with 7 jeans. (at least I can't!) For a mere $224 this skirt (simply a MUST HAVE) can be yours! I particularly like the fit and style. It is made from a stretch material so it has a be little more movement than 7s typically do. I wear this with a cute argyle sweater with an oxford (classic JCREW) look! I haven't tested out heels like in this picture, but that's only because I haven't had the change. Truth be told, I'm more of a Mary Jane girl and this skirt looks awesome with my black Mary Janes (the Franco Sarto ones, in particular)! LOVE IT!

Coach Hampton Mosaic Wristlet

Can you say ULTRA cute??? I just love this wristlet! Sassy with gold and copper tones it is a perfect compliment to many fall outfits for the season! I am a sucker for metallics! This is a standard wristlet by COACH ($148) and is about 8"X4" in size. Like any wristlet is only holds the bare minimums and does not even hold my cell. (standard size flip phone, not a skinny one) What a great additon to my wristlet family!

Vera Bradley Tote - Medallion

So I was looking for the perfect gift for one of my best friends and came across this new(er) Vera pattern. I currently own this Tote ($44) in a different pattern (discontinued pink one from YEARS ago) and she commented how much she would like a bag this size. It's perfect for books, laptop, etc. . I use mine for a variety of purposes including (but not limited to) carrying my laptop to work, carrying files that I want seperate from other things, carrying evaluation materials or toys, and even my gym clothes. Although, I admit, I typically must use the "miller bag" for my gym stuff - I always carry FAR more than I need! This pattern is a nice, updated, hip look for fall. The burgungies and oranges are fun and the pattern is a little "younger" than typical Vera designs.

Lucy Cooldown Racerback

I LOVE THIS TANK TOP! I'm an avid spinner (5 times/week) and weight train 3x/week. I need a nice, lightweight but flattering top - I need serious support. Although I need a sport bra when wearinig this top (I'm a little top heavy), this top is designed to be worn without a bra. I own five different colors and just recently bought this "thistle" color. This tank is breathable and dries quickly following a hard workout. LOVE IT!

By the way, you see Lucy brand quite a bit on Deperate Housewives.... ;)

Franco Sarto Dish Mary Janes

I'm a HUGE Franco Sarto fan and have had such great luck the shoes lasting a long time! These are my newest Franco's to my collection. This is a classic Mary Jane style with beautiful, intricate embellishments on the edges and toe. With many Mary Janes in my shoe closet, I like this particular style because of its updated look and strap at the ankle. It reminds me of the perfect blend of wingtips and square dancing shoes! I find that these look very cute with the pin strip crop pants and shorts this season (with matching tights, of course!) These shoes can be found at a variety of online retailers, but I picked mine up at Boston Store (a department stores in my area) for ~$89.

Kate Spade Flatiron Small Thea

So, in light of needing a black purse, this little Kate Spade won me over. For $245 at Marshall Fields (okay - I'm NOT letting go of the name.. but whatever, it's Macy's now), I picked up this little black purse for fall and winter. I like the nylon material as it is easy to clean - this comes in very handy as the winter months bring messy, salty cars and doors which typically get all over everything! Not nearly as big as the Coach (see previous post), this Kate is 7.3"h x 11" w x 4.9"d. It holds all the necessities with a little room to spare... but if you are like me and carry your makeup bag with you, you'll have to leave that at home. I can only get my wallet, phone and small cosemtic bag in this purse. Also, you can't tell from the photo, but this bag has one magnetic button on the top and with the two handles clasped together with a nylon strap. The small down side to not having a zipper or full closure on this purse, it my tendency to slam on the brakes in the car and have all the contents on the floor of the car!

Edwardian Jacket

Check out this beauty from Newport News (newport-news.com)! I love this jacket! For $50, I ordered this jacket and struck at how cool it was! It flatters my curving shape while still looking slim up top (I'm pretty busty). I especially think it is ultra-cool with jeans and black boots - Oooooo... or maybe those kitten heels from Payless! Needless to say, this jacket has a lot of possiblities!

BTW, I think that this jacket was featured in a fashion magazine as "a must" for fall...

Singletini - Amanda Trimble

After a recommendation of a co-worker (her cousin's friend wrote this book), I picked up this chic lit book at Target. The story of a single young woman in downtown Chicago, Singletini captures the ups and downs of the day and life of a single gal. I read the book while on the beach in South Carolina in a day (its an easy read) and found myself unable to put the book down. My husband knew I loved it because I read it straight through! If you like chic lit like Jennifer Weiner or Jane Green, pick this number up!

Angels & Airways - We Don't Need to Whisper

By far my favorite CD (currently), Angels & Airways is nearly worn out from frequent play time! I know that there was a lot of hype over the loss of Blink 182, but I tell you what, I LOVE this new sound of Angels & Airways! Every song has its own flavor and often I drive fast when I listen to it in the car! I knew upon listening to their debut song, Adventure, that I would LOVE this band. Check them out. It's a great driving CD!

Coach Mia Braided Leather Satchel

Coach Mia Braided Leather Satchel, #10048

Indulge in this Mia satchel shaped purse for this fall ($428)! Categorized as a medium purse at Coach.com, this purse presses the limits of "medium" (.14 1/2 (L) x 7 3/8 (H) x 6 1/2 (W) ) I can fit all kinds of things in it with room to spare. I love the design, especially the braided straps. Inside my Mia is the matching wallet (Coach Soho Leather Large French Purse, #40138, $188 ), a large pair of Chanels (I'll review them later), two Vera Bradley cosmetic bags, pens and when needed, my Coach planner. The purse has two functional side pockets that I use to store my cell phone (it fits perfectly) and my work creditionals. I spluged on the tocabbo and brass design and couldn't be happier! At the time of this post, the tobacco color is on backorder, but you can still get white or magenta. Gosh, I love this purse!

Payless Shoe Source "Intice" Pointed Toe Kitten Pump

For $14.99 (on sale), you cannot go wrong with these cute little numbers. Perfect with slim line jeans and a short jacket, these shoes ties together a very sharp look. I typically do not by shoes from Payless, but could not resist! Created of all made materials, they do not have the resilience of leather, but for an occasional wear, these kitten heels are perfect. I find the comfortable (for a pointed toe) and the heel is a nice, safe height. At such a low price, I bought both the black and gold - because you can't go wrong with the either color this season. I highly recommend these shoes from your local Payless. You can purchase them online at Payless.com, but at the time of this post, they appear to be on backorder. I found them at all the Payless stores in my area.
